Except for admittance to the Festival’s Music Village and the Saturday evening Skip Finley lecture at the Garfield Center for the Arts, there are no vaccination or testing requirements at Downrigging Weekend.

To gain admittance to the Music Village or Garfield Center, attendees ages five (5) or older, must provide proof of full vaccination OR a negative Covid 19 test taken within the previous 72 hours. There are no vaccination or testing requirements for children four (4) and under.

Properly fitted masks are required at the Garfield Center and Sultana’s Holt Education Center. Masks are recommended at the Music Village. Masks are not required for children under three (3) years of age.

Please do not attend Downrigging Weekend if any of the following are true:

  • You are exhibiting symptoms consistent with Covid 19
  • You have been directly exposed to someone infected with Covid 19
  • You are currently awaiting the results of a Covid 19 test.

What is considered “Fully Vaccinated?”

“Full vaccination” means 14 days or more following the final dose of a US FDA approved or WHO recognized vaccine against COVID-19 (e.g., Moderna, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca/SK Bioscience, Serum Institute of India/COVISHIELD and Vaxzevria, Sinopharm, and Sinovac).

What kind of negative Covid 19 Test will be accepted?

A negative COVID-19 test result (molecular, PCR or antigen) that was administered by an official testing center. Test results must be taken within 72 hours of the event. Home testing kit results will not be accepted for entry.

How do I show proof of vaccination when I arrive?

Acceptable documentation may be a physical copy of a COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card, a digital copy of such card. A photo of the front and back of your vaccination card will be accepted. Proof of vaccination needs to be accompanied by a photo ID, except for children accompanied by a parent.

How do I show proof of a negative Covid 19 test when I arrive?

Please provide a printed document from the test provider or laboratory, OR an electronic test result displayed on a phone or other device from the test provider or laboratory. The information should include your name, type of test performed, and negative test result. Your ID must match your name on test results.

Do I have to get multiple Covid 19 tests if I’m attending multiple days of the Festival?
No. If you plan to attend on multiple days you need only have a single negative Covid 19 test result taken within 72 hours of the first day you attend the festival.

Can I show an antibodies test instead of a negative test or full vaccination proof?
No, only proof of full vaccination or negative COVID-19 test results will be accepted for entry.

What if I forget my proof of vaccination or negative Covid 19 test result?

You won’t get in. So please don’t.

What if I have a medical condition or religious belief that exempts me from getting vaccinated?

You have the option of showing proof of a negative COVID-19 test result (molecular, PCR or antigen) that was administered by an official testing center. Test results must be taken within 72 hours of the event.
