Explore how African Americans have worked, played, and socialized on the water through this exhibit created by the Chesapeake Heartland Project, the Starr Center at Washington College, and the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture.  The exhibit features a specific focus on  the history of African American culture in Kent County, Maryland.
