The American Schooner Association (ASA) invites Downrigging guests to attend a public meeting of the Association on Saturday, November 1 at the Sultana Education Foundation’s Holt Education Center. Founded in 1972, the American Schooner Association is a national organization whose members are owners of schooners, sailors, and other individuals and organizations interested in preserving and promoting the virtues of the schooner Rig. The Association is holding their Annual Rendezvous as part of Downrigging 2025, and expects up to half-a-dozen member vessels to be in port for the festival. ASA will also have an information kiosk down on the waterfront during the festival.
